Vacancy Logistics Manager

With offices in Zaandam, Oostzaan, Barcelona, and Milan, we serve clients across Europe. But our ambitions don't stop there. In the coming years, we will continue building a strong European logistics network with multiple strategic hubs. To support this growth, we are looking for a Logistics Manager who will not only elevate our day-to-day logistics operations but also help shape the logistics organization of the future. We are looking for someone who creates structure, optimizes processes, and works closely with the team to ensure our materials are always in the right place at the right time. In doing so, you will make a direct contribution to the success of our projects and to A-Booth's continued international growth.

The Role
As Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management and ongoing development of our logistics department. You will lead a team of 15 colleagues and ensure that all logistics processes are carried out efficiently and safely.

You are a visible leader on the warehouse floor, coaching and supporting your team while creating structure and maintaining high operational standards. At the same time, you look ahead by analysing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating these into practical actions.

Beyond the daily operation, you will play an important role in our European growth strategy. You will contribute to the further development and optimisation of our Warehouse Management System (WMS), improve collaboration between our existing locations, and support the expansion of our logistics hubs across Europe. Your goal is to help build a scalable logistics organisation that is ready for continued international growth.

In addition, you will fulfil the role of Health & Safety Coordinator (Prevention Officer). You will play a key role in promoting workplace safety, ensuring the follow-up of actions resulting from the Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E), and fostering a strong safety culture throughout the organisation. You will help make health and safety an integral part of our daily operations.

As the exhibition industry is not a standard nine-to-five business, you are also flexible and willing to work occasional weekends when required.

Your responsabilities

• Lead and coach the logistics team (15 employees);
• Plan team activities and ensure an efficient warehouse layout and optimal flow of goods;
• Analyse logistics processes and initiate improvements in efficiency, safety, and quality;
• Contribute actively to the further development of our logistics organisation and the expansion of new European logistics hubs;
• Act as Prevention Officer (Health & Safety Coordinator) and coordinate and follow up on actions arising from the RI&E;
• Foster collaboration, ownership, and professional development within the team;
• Participate as a member of the Management Team and contribute to the continued growth and development of A-Booth.

Who are you?

• An experienced manager with a strong focus on processes and structure; 
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of working and thinking (HBO); 
• At least five years of experience in a similar management position;
• Experience in the international exhibition, events, or project-based industry is an advantage;
• Experience with warehouse management, transport planning, and inventory control;
• Decisive, well-organised, and able to maintain oversight in a dynamic environment;
• A coaching leader who motivates, develops, and holds people accountable;
• A strong commitment to health and safety, leading by example;
• Flexible and willing to adapt your working hours when operational needs require it.
